Pavement Ants
Description:
Pavement ants are dark brown or blackish. They are about 1/8 inch in length, have six legs and antennae.
Prevention:
Eliminate standing water. Pests, such as ants, are attracted to moisture. Keep tree branches and other plants cut back from the house. Make sure there are no cracks or little openings around your home. Do not store firewood and building materials next to your home. Pests like to build nests in stacks of wood.
